Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or Associate Degree with relevant work experience
- Minimum of 2 years related job experience
- Previous experience in customer service or helpdesk roles
- Hands-on experience with Linux administration, including user/group management and permissions
- Familiarity with basic AWS operations such as managing EC2 and S3 buckets
- Experience with shell scripting (Bash) for task automation
- Understanding of monitoring and logging on Linux and AWS
- Knowledge of patching and configuration maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Basic understanding of networking concepts
- Familiarity with access management and security hygiene practices
- Knowledge of backup and restore processes related to instance snapshots and AMIs
- Experience with ticketing and incident management workflows
- Preferred: Linux certifications (CompTIA Linux+, LPIC-1/2, RHCSA)
- Preferred: AWS foundational certifications (Certified Cloud Practitioner)
- Preferred: Knowledge of project management methodologies
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for all Tier 1 issues
- Prioritize, categorize, escalate, and manage incidents based on business impact or established SLAs
- Work independently on multiple tasks and projects with limited supervision
- Adapt to a flexible work schedule
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Constructively resolve conflicts with team members
- Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with clients
