Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline. - At least 5 years of experience in technology consulting. - Minimum 3 years of experience in federal government or DoD environments. - One of the following certifications is required: - Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP). - Offensive Security Certified Expert (OSCE). - GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware (GREM). - GIAC Exploit Researcher and Advanced Penetration Tester (GXPN). - Expertise in reverse engineering and exploit development. - Experience with debuggers and disassemblers such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, and x64dbg. - Strong grasp of software and hardware vulnerabilities, including buffer overflows and logic flaws. - Proficient in assembly, C/C++, and scripting languages like Python, Bash, and PowerShell. - Familiarity with vulnerability research frameworks and bug-hunting techniques. - Experience with containerized environments such as Docker and Kubernetes, as well as cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. - Capability to incorporate findings into secure software development lifecycles (SSDLC) and DevSecOps frameworks.

Responsibilities

- Perform in-depth vulnerability research across various software, firmware, and hardware systems to identify exploitable conditions. - Reverse engineer binaries and embedded systems utilizing tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, and x64dbg to find zero-day vulnerabilities. - Create and evaluate proof-of-concept exploits in controlled settings to confirm discoveries. - Work alongside red and blue teams to replicate adversarial methods and enhance defensive capabilities in cybersecurity. - Contribute to vulnerability databases and automated detection tools to bolster enterprise cyber resilience. - Incorporate research findings into secure software development lifecycles (SSDLC) and DevSecOps processes. - Present research findings and threat evaluations to stakeholders, translating complex results into practical recommendations.
