Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Intelligence Studies, Intelligence Analysis, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or a related field (equivalent military experience may be accepted).
- At least 5 years of experience in technology consulting or cyber threat intelligence roles.
- Minimum of 3 years supporting federal government programs.
- Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms, such as ThreatConnect, Recorded Future, and CrowdStrike Falcon X.
- Understanding of DoD cybersecurity frameworks, including RMF, NIST SP 800-53, CNSSI 1253, and DoDI 8500.01.
- Knowledge of threat actors and their tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) using the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
- Experience with threat modeling frameworks, such as Cyber Kill Chain and Diamond Model.
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms, including Splunk, ELK Stack, or QRadar.
- Techniques for conducting OSINT research.
- Strong analytical, research, and communication abilities.
- Capacity to report progress and resource utilization to government stakeholders.
- One of the following certifications is required:
- CompTIA Security+
- ISC2 CISSP, ISSAP, or CCSP
- ISACA CISM or CISA
- GIAC GSLC
- EC-Council CCISO
- GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI)
- Certified Threat Intelligence Handler (CTIH)
Responsibilities
- Analyze, collect, and distribute cyber threat intelligence from both open-source and classified sources.
- Identify and monitor emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
- Create and maintain threat models and indicators of compromise (IOCs) utilizing frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain.
- Utilize platforms such as ThreatConnect, Recorded Future, and CrowdStrike Falcon X to compile and assess threat data.
- Conduct OSINT research to enhance intelligence outcomes and support operational readiness.
- Work closely with both red and blue teams to improve detection, response, and mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present intelligence reports and briefings to both technical and operational stakeholders.
