Requirements
Must:
- Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
- Bachelors degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Must be available to work on-site in Ft Meade, MD up to five days a week based on customer requirements.
- IAT Level II certification required.
- At least 5 years of experience with DoD cybersecurity policies and frameworks (RMF, NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, DISA STIGs).
- At least 5 years of experience with security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection).
- At least 5 years of experience securing network protocols, operating systems, and databases.
- At least 5 years of experience scripting for automation and reporting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash).
Responsibilities
- Implement and sustain cybersecurity controls for JCC2 operational systems.
- Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and threat analysis activities.
- Perform security testing and validation to discover and address system vulnerabilities.
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents and security events.
- Develop remediation strategies and assist in incident recovery efforts.
- Maintain security documentation, playbooks, and reporting artifacts.
- Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies, RMF, and security standards.
- Support system accreditation and security assessment initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to enhance system security posture.
- Participate in Agile program increment (PI) planning and activities requiring occasional travel.
