DevOps Platform Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer focusing on Red Hat Linux, you will design, build, and manage a scalable Platform-as-a-Service Infrastructure on RHEL and OpenShift Container Platforms, which includes various components like data services, storage, networking, and security. You will monitor and optimize system performance, implementing corrective measures on a hybrid/private cloud-based platform. Conducting regular cybersecurity vulnerability assessments and penetration testing will be part of your duties. You will develop and maintain security incident response plans and procedures, as well as automation scripts and tools to enhance platform deployments, provisioning, and management tasks. Your role will also involve deploying and managing machines using VMware, vCenter, Kickstart, Puppet, Foreman, and CIS-CAT, configuring host-based security systems, and managing integration with networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, and firewalls). Troubleshooting service interruptions, providing hardware support for servers and workstations, and leveraging cloud platforms like AWS and Azure to manage and secure the environment/platform infrastructure will also be your responsibilities.
