Requirements
Must:
- I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- I possess three years of experience in IT operations and/or infrastructure management.
- I have experience in the design, development, and implementation of IoT systems and devices.
- I am knowledgeable about OT systems and IT integration.
- I have experience with modern networking and communication protocols, IT infrastructure operations, and I am familiar with cloud platforms, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
- I am proficient in virtualization technologies.
- I have experience with backup technologies and disaster recovery solutions.
- I understand that my selection for this role is contingent upon my eligibility for export compliance regarding access to U.S. controlled technology governed by the U.S. Department of State, ITAR, and the U.S. Department of Commerce, EAR.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will be responsible for ensuring the dependable interaction between physical manufacturing devices and the digital realm, with a focus on stability, security, scalability, and usability. My duties will include:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, product managers, hardware engineers, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Troubleshooting intricate technical challenges and creating long-term solutions.
- Designing, developing, and implementing IoT systems and devices, which includes connecting and configuring hardware components and integrating them with software and networks.
- Developing software and firmware to support devices within the IoT ecosystem.
- Constructing and maintaining IoT architectures to facilitate seamless and secure data transfer.
- Creating and deploying cloud systems and applications for data collection, storage, analysis, and management.
- Testing and validating systems to guarantee reliability, stability, and security, while identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Researching new technologies, methodologies, and solutions for potential implementation in projects.
- Providing technical support and crafting documentation, including technical specifications and user manuals.
