Requirements

Must:
- Extensive hands-on experience with Java, enterprise programming, and distributed systems architecture. - Proven record as an Architect or Technical Lead for large-scale, real-time enterprise systems. - In-depth knowledge of high-volume, low-latency transaction processing systems. - Advanced skills with In-Memory Data Grid (IMDG) technologies including VMware GemFire / Apache Geode, Hazelcast, and Redis. - Strong data engineering and data architecture expertise, including real-time pipelines, event streaming, telemetry, and stateful data systems. - Experience working in cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments utilizing modern DevOps tools. - Background in leading architecture for global, distributed, mission-critical platforms. - Demonstrated experience leading global engineering organizations across diverse time zones. - Ability to drive engineering excellence including architecture, quality, and design, as well as operational excellence such as SRE practices and scaling. - Proficient in setting strategic directions, creating roadmaps, and influencing senior stakeholders across functions. - Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities with both executive and technical audiences. - Strong analytical and decision-making skills, capable of navigating ambiguity and complex problems. - Highly organized, adept at managing multiple strategic initiatives and priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

- Define and drive the engineering vision and strategy for In-Memory data grids within the Decision Management Platform. - Guide and expand global engineering teams across various regions, ensuring alignment, collaboration, and delivery excellence. - Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Security, and Operations to shape platform direction and execution priorities. - Supervise the design and development of high throughput, low latency, distributed systems that facilitate fraud prevention and identity solutions. - Lead modernization efforts across cloud and on-premise environments, ensuring scalability, resilience, and top-tier performance. - Promote engineering and operational excellence, focusing on reliability, observability, performance optimization, and incident management. - Enhance system uptime, latency, throughput, and deployment efficiency using data-driven KPIs. - Attract, develop, and retain exceptional engineering talent while nurturing a culture of innovation, accountability, and efficient execution. - Provide coaching and mentorship to senior engineers, architects, and team leaders. - Implement improved engineering processes, SDLC best practices, governance frameworks, and quality standards. - Manage delivery timelines, resource planning, and budgets across multiple complex projects.
