Requirements
Must:
- Strong ownership skills with a capacity for rapid learning and independent problem-solving
- Clear and proactive communication abilities to collaborate effectively with engineers, product teams, and business operations
- Deep knowledge of service-oriented and platform-level system design with experience in open frameworks like Spring Boot and established design patterns
- Strong software engineering background with practical experience in designing, developing, and maintaining production-quality systems
- Proficiency in Java, Spring, gRPC, and backend service development for scalable applications
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins), Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
- Understanding of cloud services (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with relational databases (Oracle) and messaging systems such as MQ and Kafka
- Solid grounding in software quality assurance, with practical experience in testing frameworks like JUnit and TestNG
- Exposure to contemporary development methodologies (Agile, CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews)
- Knowledge of secure coding standards (e.g., OWASP, CWE, SEI CERT) and vulnerability management
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and sustain a high-throughput, low-latency decision-making platform at scale
- Create and implement comprehensive testing strategies with a significant emphasis on automation
- Maintain engineering best practices, ensuring clean code, engaging in peer reviews, and facilitating CI/CD-friendly delivery
