Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Experience with IBM Operational Decision Manager software
- Proven track record in providing technical solutions that align with business and product strategies
- Prior experience developing custom software applications across various technologies
- Familiarity with software engineering principles and practices, such as agile methodologies, test automation, and behavior-driven development
- Strong background in object-oriented design and development; direct experience with Java preferred, additional experience with OO languages and SQL is a plus
- Detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in high-pressure, independent environments while managing multiple conflicting priorities
- Passionate about creating solutions to detect and prevent payment fraud
- Strong analytical skills and a curiosity for enhancing customer experience
- Adaptable work style with a readiness to shift focus based on evolving priorities
Responsibilities
- Provide technical insight for applications that forecast fraud, supporting high-volume transaction processing systems
- Evaluate customer inquiries regarding fraud rule alterations and assess the efficiency of proposed solutions
- Construct effective rule strategies aimed at identifying solutions for customer needs
- Develop and execute rule modifications within an agile framework
- Test rule changes against transaction data to ensure quality standards are maintained
