- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficient in algorithms, data structures, scripting, pipeline management, and software design.
- A systematic approach to problem-solving, strong communication skills, and a sense of ownership and motivation.
- Experience in debugging and optimizing code, with the capability to automate repetitive tasks.
- Familiarity with managing various stakeholders, with the ability to handle challenging situations and make urgent decisions.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following: Scala, SPARK, or NIFI Pipeline.
- An interest in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
- Previous experience with industry standard CI/CD tools such as Git/BitBucket, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, and Chef.
- A track record of designing and implementing effective CI/CD processes that ensure high-quality code deployment from development to production, minimizing manual effort.

Responsibilities
- Engage in enhancing the entire lifecycle of services—from initial design to deployment, operation, and refinement.
- Analyze ITSM activities related to the platform and relay feedback to development teams regarding operational gaps or resilience issues.
- Assist in service readiness before launch through system design consultations, capacity planning, and launch reviews.
- Maintain service performance once active by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall health.
- Sustainably scale systems through automation and advocate for changes that enhance reliability and speed.
- Oversee the applications CI/CD pipeline, promoting software into higher environments while leading automation and best practices in DevOps.
- Practice sustainable incident response and conduct blameless postmortems.
- Adopt a holistic approach to problem-solving during production events by connecting various technology layers to optimize recovery time.
- Collaborate with a global team across different tech hubs and time zones.
- Share knowledge and offer mentorship to junior team members.
