Requirements
Must:

- A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5 to 8 years of experience with IBM WebSphere Tools, particularly in Message Architecture Administration.
- Advanced knowledge of Systems Management Engineering’s role in supporting business processes.
- Proficiency with WebSphere Message Broker (V7 and above) on distributed platforms, including UNIX environments.
- Hands-on experience with software installation and configuration on Unix (preferably AIX) and familiarity with databases (DB2 or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of Unix and Windows Operating Systems, including MQ runtime components on z/OS.
- Experience with both In Product and Fixpack installations of WebSphere MQ and command-line administration.
- Solid troubleshooting skills for MQ problem determination, backup, and recovery across Unix, Windows, and z/OS platforms.
- Competence in scripting, including writing/editing Unix shell scripts, and familiarity with change management tools.

- Lead by mentoring junior associates and overseeing internal projects.
- Provide administrative guidance and assist the lead architect in strategically directing the department.
- Identify and delegate tasks effectively, while ensuring follow-up on assigned responsibilities.
- Actively participate in cross-functional teams for estimating, application designs, and implementation strategies.
- Utilize strong communication skills to promote data governance and departmental objectives.
