Requirements
Must:
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Bash environment
- Proficiency in Python, Pyspark, Airflow, CI/CD, JIRA, Hadoop, SQL, Databricks, Ray
- Excellent communication abilities
- Highly skilled in problem-solving
- Demonstrates a proactive approach and initiative
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field
- Experience in Data Science is a plus
- Familiarity with C++ and/or Rust is advantageous
- Understanding of evaluation methods for work quality
- Graduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, AI, or similar STEM field is preferred
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with data scientists to analyze the current modeling pipeline and discover optimization opportunities
- Create scalable machine learning tools to address complex challenges for modeling teams
- Develop and sustain high-throughput computational engines capable of processing massive datasets
- Support the deployment team in introducing and validating production-ready artifacts
- Recognize patterns and innovative approaches in existing workflows, continuously looking for ways to simplify and automate tasks, while constructing reusable components for various applications
- Produce artifacts that are well-architected, fully documented, and easy to comprehend and maintain
