Requirements

Must:
- Strong advocate and champion for Agile principles and practices across teams and the organization. - Experience supporting multiple Scrum teams, including globally distributed teams, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration. - Proficiency in facilitating Agile ceremonies and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. - Expertise in coaching teams and leaders on Agile values, Scrum practices, and servant leadership principles. - Ability to identify and eliminate impediments to help teams concentrate on delivering value. - Close collaboration with Product Owners and stakeholders to maintain a clear, prioritized backlog. - Use of metrics (velocity, capacity, sprint performance) to monitor and enhance team effectiveness. - Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence to manage and share progress. - Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification preferred but not mandatory. - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Play a crucial role in the teams success by guaranteeing effective implementation of Scrum practices, enabling the team to concentrate on delivering customer value and cultivating an agile mindset. - Be an integral part of the leadership team, aiding peers and their direct reports in embracing and applying Agile Scrum methods. - Promote a positive team atmosphere by advocating a “fail fast, learn quickly” mindset that sparks innovation and ongoing improvement. - Facilitate all Agile Scrum ceremonies and cadences, ensuring they are effective and focused on outcomes. - Measure and track team effectiveness by monitoring velocity and other key performance metrics to drive continuous enhancement. - Assist in backlog management by helping the team create clear, concise, and prioritized backlog items. - Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to synchronize Mastercard’s project tracking and reporting standards with the team’s Agile Scrum framework. - Track and update vital project initiatives for quarterly reviews, including preparing reports and presentation materials. - Coach the team on Agile and Scrum principles to bolster collaboration, transparency, and adaptability. - Exhibit servant leadership by modeling the values and responsibilities of the Scrum Master role. - Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth handoffs and appropriate intake of new requests. - Lead audit-related efforts within the team, acting as the liaison to stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of audits and adequate documentation from development teams.
