Requirements
Must:
- 12-14 years of experience in software test automation and quality engineering
- Proficient in Java programming with hands-on experience using Spring, JUnit, Rest Assured, and Appium
- Strong knowledge of Cucumber/JBehave, REST/SOAP API testing, and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with quality assurance tools such as Sonar and Clover, as well as security tools like Checkmarx and Fortify
- Experience with performance testing tools including JMeter and LoadRunner
- Understanding of the payments domain, design patterns, and ISO message protocols is preferred
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, Infrastructure as Code (Chef/Puppet), and device cloud testing platforms
- Familiarity with lifecycle management tools such as JIRA, Rally, and Rational Team Concert
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly with tech and business leaders
- Proven leadership ability with a track record of driving engineering excellence
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale automation and testing initiatives
- Strong skills in communication, influencing, and mentoring
Responsibilities
- Lead quality engineering strategy, automation, and exploratory testing across web, mobile, and API platforms
- Promote the adoption of quality engineering, performance engineering, CI/CD, and environment automation practices
- Implement Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) to ensure high code quality with significant automation and code coverage
- Provide technical guidance on test automation, code reviews, quality metrics, and engineering best practices
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, operations, and product teams to define testing strategy and automation scope
- Understand end-to-end customer processes and ensure quality throughout the entire value chain
- Oversee integration of test automation with tools like Jenkins/Bamboo, Sonar, and other quality tools
- Advise teams on performance testing using JMeter/LoadRunner and support continuous delivery frameworks
- Mentor and develop Quality Engineers within a fast-paced, high-performance culture
- Formulate and execute performance testing strategies, automation, and best practices to ensure comprehensive application reliability and efficiency
- Provide production support and assist in reproducing issues across various applications while driving their resolution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure exceptional customer-focused delivery
