Must:

- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical field that involves coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in algorithms, data structures, scripting, pipeline management, and software design.
- Experience supporting production environments comprised of Java-based applications using the Spring Boot/batch framework and event-driven frameworks.
- Familiarity with database technologies such as Postgres, Cassandra, and Redis.
- A systematic approach to problem-solving, alongside strong communication skills and a deep sense of ownership and drive.
- Experience managing relationships with various stakeholders, with the ability to handle challenging situations and make prompt decisions.
- A keen interest in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
- A passion for driving change and pushing the limits of automation, with experience collaborating across development, operations, and product teams.

Responsibilities
As a BizOps Engineer in our Nexus team, you will be pivotal in identifying and resolving customer issues while prioritizing their needs. Your role will involve leading our transformation journey at Mastercard through our tools and advocating for change and standards within development, quality, release, and product teams. You should be prepared to engage with various stakeholders, working collaboratively to prioritize needs, build relationships, and tackle production challenges swiftly.
