Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in information technology, engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Series 99 licensed or willingness to obtain
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in IT leadership or business unit leadership roles
- 5 years of experience in wealth management
- Ability to translate business strategy into integrated technology strategy and delivery roadmaps
- Experience in managing substantial vendor relationships
- Extensive technical knowledge in application development
- Familiarity with cloud and modern/emerging technologies (e.g., AI, AWS, CRM, data analytics, robotics, and automation)
- Proven track record of leading key initiatives within cross-functional teams to successfully implement critical business projects and promote continuous improvement
- Comfortable working in uncertain environments and capable of establishing and developing functions and teams from the ground up
- Proficient with project management methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Scrum, and Kanban
Responsibilities
- Oversee a diverse and essential technology portfolio for the wealth management sector at MassMutual
- Collaborate with peers in the Distribution, Sales & Wealth Technology leadership to deliver outstanding technology solutions
- Lead a team to connect with business partners to understand their requirements and promote innovative, scalable solutions
- Develop a comprehensive reporting and analytics capability to support data-driven decisions within the wealth business
- Build a solid architecture and delivery roadmap for the wealth technology ecosystem
- Engage with both new and established partners to create a top-tier wealth platform
- Generate digital solutions that advance our enterprise digital transformation
- Cultivate an inclusive environment that prioritizes engineering excellence and innovation
- Partner with business leaders to drive programs for growth, cost efficiency, and resolution of operational challenges
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, developers, and vendors to ensure alignment of program strategy with business requirements
- Manage staff development and motivation, raising risks and issues as necessary to support team objectives
