Requirements
Must:
- Proven expertise in AI/ML with a strong history of delivering impactful solutions
- 7 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or AI engineering roles
- In-depth knowledge of machine learning, statistics, NLP, optimization, and large language models (LLMs)
- Practical experience with AI deployment and orchestration frameworks and protocols (e.g., MLflow, llama-index, MCP)
- Extensive experience validating LLM behavior using various foundational models and benchmarks
- Experience in developing AI-powered applications and collaborating effectively with software engineers and product managers
- Strong programming capability in Python
- Familiarity with R is advantageous
- Proficiency in SQL and database design; knowledge of cloud-native data platforms, vector databases, and semantic search is a plus
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas to non-technical audiences
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related quantitative discipline
Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the implementation of comprehensive ML/AI solutions for diverse enterprise applications using LLMs, deep learning, and probabilistic modeling from ideation to production
- Launch scalable Generative AI and Agentic AI systems to support organizational objectives
- Establish and advocate for best practices in AI development and the responsible deployment of AI technologies
- Propel innovation by identifying emerging technologies and converting research into actionable solutions
- Partner with engineering teams to construct robust, production-quality AI pipelines and APIs
- Prototype and present AI-driven applications (e.g., web apps, dashboards, visualizations) that facilitate data-informed decision-making
- Influence executive leadership by aligning AI projects with corporate strategies and conveying insights effectively
- Mentor and cultivate junior team members, promoting a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement
