Requirements
Must:
- Recognized industry expertise in AI/ML, with a proven track record of successful outcomes
- 7 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or AI engineering roles
- Deep understanding of machine learning, statistics, natural language processing, optimization, and large language models
- Hands-on experience with AI deployment and orchestration frameworks and protocols (e.g., MLflow, llama-index, MCP)
- Extensive experience testing the behavior of large language models across various foundation models and benchmarks
- Experience in building AI-driven applications and collaborating with software engineers and product managers
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Proficiency in R is an advantage
- Proficiency in SQL and database design; familiarity with cloud-native data platforms, vector databases, and semantic search is a plus
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related quantitative field
Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee end-to-end machine learning/AI solutions supporting various use cases within a large enterprise using large language models, deep learning, and probabilistic modeling, from concept to production
- Deploy scalable Generative AI and Agentic AI systems that align with business objectives
- Establish and advocate for best practices in AI development and responsible AI implementation
- Drive innovation by identifying emerging technologies and shifting research into practical applications
- Collaborate with engineering teams to create robust, production-ready AI pipelines and APIs
- Prototype and deliver AI-enabled applications (e.g., web applications, dashboards, visualizations) that facilitate data-driven decision-making
- Influence senior leadership by aligning AI projects with enterprise strategy and effectively communicating insights
- Mentor and cultivate junior talent, promoting a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning
