Head of SAP Platform Management

- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of SAP Basis administrators and SAP Security/Authorization specialists, both onshore and offshore. - Manage the administration, upkeep, upgrades, and optimization of SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, HANA, PI/XI, Solution Manager, etc.). - Ensure strong SAP security and authorization protocols, including role design, provisioning, auditing, and compliance throughout the SAP framework. - Oversee change and release processes (Rev-Trac, HANA Cockpit, Solution Manager), ensuring minimal disruption and maximum system reliability. - Supervise disaster recovery and high availability planning and execution for SAP platforms across on-premises and cloud environments (AWS, RHEL, SLES). - Act as the primary escalation contact for critical incidents, coordinating cross-functional resolution and on-call support. - Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and business teams to deliver projects, troubleshoot issues, and promote innovation. - Advocate for automation, vulnerability management, and process optimization initiatives. - Maintain detailed documentation, enforce best practices, and guarantee compliance with audit and regulatory standards. - Conduct a thorough assessment of the current SAP platform, including all Basis and Security/Authorization components. - Develop a future state architecture that aligns with our business and technology strategies. - Create and uphold a strategic roadmap for retiring and replacing outdated tools and services, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal business disruption. - Lead and support the deployment of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM), and SAP Datasphere. - Evaluate and provide recommendations for the adoption and future direction of the SAP RISE platform, keeping us at the forefront of SAP innovation.
