Requirements

Must:
- Bachelor’s degree - 8 years of experience in investment data with a strong grasp of systems and data management - 8 years of experience with derivative systems and their configurations - Familiarity with Derivatives, Collateral Management, Risk, Compliance, and Accounting - 6 years as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Calypso, Aladdin, or equivalent systems with robust workflow/configuration knowledge - Proficient in creating configuration specs documentation and managing release - Extensive knowledge of derivative trade operations, lifecycle events, collateral management, and payment workflows - Advanced skills in Excel (including Pivot tables and VBA), SQL, and Python - Experience using Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence, along with strong skills in project and requirements documentation - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, drive ongoing improvements, and adapt to changes in a dynamic environment - Strong analytical and technical skills with a proven ability to write clear Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), comprehend complex data architectures, and manage ETL processes to enhance systems and workflows - Excellent problem-solving and collaboration abilities, with effective communication skills across all organizational levels - Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

Responsibilities

- Develop a comprehensive understanding of data flows and hierarchies within the derivative systems, ensuring proper sourcing and aggregation of information to facilitate timely delivery of derivative data to stakeholders for critical reporting and analysis - Take ownership of data within the MassMutual derivative data ecosystem, define requirements, and ensure the data is fit for its intended purpose - Understand and translate business needs, collaborating closely with Product Owners and Developers to prioritize implementation tasks - Maintain open communication and collaboration with external partners and asset managers to deliver business solutions that address emerging requirements - Conduct root cause analysis and resolve challenges concerning derivative data, including suggesting and executing necessary process or workflow improvements - Act as the main point of contact and ongoing support for front office, middle office, and back office teams, ensuring that all data extract users have the documentation of processes readily available and up-to-date.
