Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 3 years of practical IT support experience
- Experience with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) is highly preferred
- Background in supporting small business environments (10–50 users)
- Strong independent troubleshooting skills, beyond scripted helpdesk support
- Clean driving record for local onsite visits
- Excellent professional demeanor and communication abilities
- Bonus: Familiarity with QuickBooks multi-user troubleshooting
- Bonus: Experience with UniFi systems
- Bonus: Knowledge of Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite support for both business and residential clients, including servers, networking, and workstations
- Configure firewalls, preferably UniFi
- Support Windows Server environments (Active Directory, file shares, DNS)
- Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, SharePoint, Azure AD)
- Set up, troubleshoot, and migrate workstations
- Handle basic networking tasks (switches, VLANs, access points)
- Diagnose hardware issues and coordinate necessary replacements
- Maintain clear documentation in the ticketing system
- Communicate professionally with business owners and homeowners

We seek a versatile IT Support Technician who can provide both onsite and remote assistance with minimal supervision. Joining our small, close-knit team will allow you to have a direct impact on our operations while offering a stable local client base and opportunities for personal and professional growth. Our role is hands-on and independent, providing you with significant responsibility. We offer competitive pay of $23.00 - $25.00 per hour along with benefits such as a 401(k) plan, including matching, paid time off, and professional development assistance. Our work location is hybrid remote from Reisterstown, MD 21136.
