Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Over 4 years of experience in controls engineering or equivalent training
- Advanced expertise in PLC and operator interface programming languages
- Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical and Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to design and engineer precise electrical prints and schematics
- Strong skills in problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration
- Capability to support maintenance staff and operators through training and technical assistance
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the controls engineering team on a variety of projects
- Design, test, and assess control systems to confirm performance, safety, and compliance
- Pursue opportunities for continuous improvement to raise machine efficiency and system scalability
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to integrate new equipment, technologies, and products
- Offer technical support to maintenance teams and operators, ensuring they possess the necessary knowledge and resources
- Ensure accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date documentation of control systems, processes, and standards
