Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant healthcare or information systems field is preferred.
- At least two years of experience in the healthcare imaging sector is desirable.
- Background in a clinical imaging profession is highly valued.
- Licensing or registration in a clinical field is preferred.
- Maintenance of any profession-specific certification/licensure is required.
- Preferred certifications in radiology/cardiology disciplines or from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be a requirement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities and capability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Ability to collaborate with individuals at all levels, including clinicians, vendors, and the public.
- Proficient in providing independent work as well as in team settings.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between the imaging department, providers, and IT staff to ensure efficient application use.
- Assist with daily operations within the imaging department.
- Provide technical support and guidance in person, over the phone, or electronically to resolve application issues.
- Help designated departments and areas utilize Sanfords imaging applications and clinical technologies.
- Oversee the validation of imaging exams and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Monitor and assure quality for both internal and external image management processes.
- Conduct individual and group training sessions for end-users.
- Investigate and solve issues related to applications and workflows.
- Participate in committees aimed at enhancing standardization and optimization of services.
- Provide on-call support for end-users when necessary.
