Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 3 years in IT support, systems engineering, or a similar technical position.
- Practical experience with O365, Exchange, and cloud desktop technologies.
- Proficient troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation abilities.
- Outstanding communication skills with a strong emphasis on customer service.
- Availability to work overnight shifts and occasionally during the day.
- Preferred certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft 365 Fundamentals.
- Familiarity with software like Vertafore (AMS360, ImageRight) or Salesforce.
- Knowledge of compliance standards (NYDFS, SOC 2, HIPAA).
Responsibilities
- Respond to and address overnight technical support inquiries related to hardware, software, telephony, and essential business systems.
- Oversee and manage O365 and Microsoft Exchange accounts, including permissions and distribution groups.
- Troubleshoot and maintain virtual cloud desktops, aiding in onboarding and offboarding procedures.
- Supervise security measures (spam filters, antivirus software, access controls) to avert threats and uphold compliance.
- Accurately document service requests, outcomes, and updates on projects.
- Assist with IT initiatives, enhancements, and deployments outside of regular working hours.
- Collaborate with team members and convey issues to guarantee consistent, high-quality service.
