Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant and progressive work experience
- Proven success in leading and developing an effective project team in a complex, service-oriented, deadline-driven environment
- Strong experience with SQL or similar tools for data requirements analysis and documentation
- Proficient in DevOps including task management and CI/CD
- Solid understanding of the .NET framework
- Familiarity with all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Hospitality and/or Timeshare experience is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with Oracle & SQL Server PL/SQL
- Knowledge of Microsoft .NET / C#, Microsoft Azure Services, and Microsoft Fabric Data Engineering
- Understanding of ERP systems
- Knowledgeable in US and international accounting processes and policies
- Ability to grasp complex business processes and develop comprehensive solutions
- Strong communication and networking abilities for collaboration in a dynamic matrix environment
- Proactive, motivated, and disciplined
- Capable of effectively prioritizing tasks and fulfilling commitments
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Understanding of business process mapping methodologies
- Demonstrated leadership in project and upgrade implementations
- Strong service orientation and excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced business and technical expertise in support of financial information systems
- Collaborate with key business partners and subject matter experts to create functional and technical requirement documentation
- Work with technical teams to produce conceptual and detailed design documents
- Plan solution delivery for unit/user acceptance testing and deployment
- Monitor key performance metrics and review controls in accounting, consolidation, and/or reporting systems
- Lead team development initiatives
- Identify solutions and implement best practices for enterprise business solutions
- Collaborate with external technical service providers to ensure system changes meet stakeholder needs
- Partner with business users to understand operational complexities and enhance communication and process improvements
- Oversee the audit systems controls process, including EBS system change management
- Provide support for accounting and reporting information systems
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Act as a team lead for implementation and upgrade projects across financial applications
- Gain a thorough understanding of MVW accounting processes and how they integrate with MVW applications
- Assist with special projects as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
