Requirements
Must:
- HVAC Certification
- Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification (mandatory)
- State or local license for plant operation by a Stationary Engineer (where applicable)
- Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree (preferred)
- A minimum of 3 years of related work experience
- No supervisory experience required
Responsibilities
- Repair various gas, electric, and steam appliances
- Oversee the physical condition of the property
- Record, log, and interpret readings from meters and gauges
- Monitor and inspect boiler equipment, valves, and gauges
- Inspect, repair, and manage HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Test and treat closed loop systems for efficiency and corrosion prevention
- Ensure balanced water and efficiency in cooling towers
- Diagnose issues with electrical systems and components
- Assemble, install, and maintain electrical wiring and equipment
- Follow safety policies and report hazards or injuries
- Maintain a professional appearance and confidentiality
- Provide exceptional service to guests and anticipate their needs
- Foster positive relationships with team members
- Adhere to quality standards and suggest improvements
- Communicate effectively with clear and professional language
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, and manipulating objects
- Utilize computers to access work-related information
- Complete any additional duties as assigned
