Senior Engineer - Embedded Systems

- Respond to and manage guest repair requests - Communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues - Conduct preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication - Inspect tools, equipment, and machinery visually - Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and utility systems - Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and requisition parts as needed - Ensure daily activities and incidents are communicated to other shifts - Demonstrate knowledge of building systems, emergency response, and documentation - Exhibit advanced engineering operations skills and mechanical ability - Perform complex repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems - Conduct routine inspections of property and address safety hazards - Use Lockout/Tagout system for maintenance work - Manage maintenance contracts and vendor relationships - Troubleshoot hotel Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems - Train and mentor junior engineers and supervise work as needed - Assume Engineer on Duty responsibilities, including readings and rounds - Adhere to all safety and security policies and report issues appropriately - Maintain professionalism in all guest interactions and support team goals - Perform physical tasks related to maintenance and repair jobs as required
