Requirements
Must:
- Over 10 years of experience in data governance, information management, or enterprise data strategy.
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional settings and large-scale transformation projects.
- Bachelors degree is required; a masters degree is preferred.
- In-depth understanding of data governance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Proficient in data stewardship, metadata management, and governance tools.
- Strong analytical, strategic planning, and project management capabilities.
- Exceptional communication skills, stakeholder engagement expertise, and team leadership qualities.
- Ability to influence senior leadership and drive change in complex organizations.
- Experience in developing and implementing governance programs within a matrixed environment.
Responsibilities
- Establish and implement enterprise data governance frameworks and operational models.
- Lead the creation and enforcement of data policies, standards, and stewardship frameworks.
- Manage governance tooling, enablement initiatives, and technology integration.
- Collaborate with business units to incorporate governance into operational workflows and processes.
- Oversee data quality, compliance metrics, and facilitate the resolution of issues.
- Support transformation initiatives, change management efforts, and enhance organizational maturity.
- Mentor governance managers, analysts, and data stewards.
- Represent governance in enterprise forums, committees, and external engagements.
- Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous enhancement.
- Work alongside Legal, Risk, and IT to ensure regulatory compliance and risk reduction.
