Senior Engineer - Charlotte

In this role, I will respond to and address guest repair requests and communicate with customers to resolve maintenance issues. I will perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including their cleaning and lubrication. My duties will include visually inspecting tools, equipment, and machines, carrying necessary equipment, and identifying and operating shut-off valves for various systems. I will maintain the inventory of maintenance supplies and requisition parts as necessary. I will ensure proper communication daily regarding activities and issues to the following shifts using the approved channels. It is essential for me to have a thorough understanding of building systems, emergency response protocols, and documentation, such as reading blueprints and electrical schematics related to plumbing and HVAC systems. I will exhibit advanced engineering operations skills and demonstrate a high level of mechanical ability. I will be responsible for performing complex repairs on various equipment, ensuring compliance with company standards, and adhering to local and national codes with minimal supervision. I will also conduct inspections of the property to identify safety hazards and take immediate corrective actions. My duties will consist of inspecting and repairing mechanical equipment, utilizing the Lockout/Tagout system before performing maintenance work, and showcasing advanced knowledge in engineering computer programs associated with preventative maintenance and energy management. Additionally, I will train and mentor junior engineers and take on supervisory responsibilities in the absence of management. I will engage in Engineer on Duty responsibilities, including readings and rounds.
