Part-Time Engineer

- I will respond to and handle guest repair requests, effectively communicating with guests to resolve maintenance issues with minimal supervision. - I will carry out preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, ensuring proper cleaning and lubrication. - I will visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines, and manage maintenance inventory by requisitioning parts and supplies as necessary. - I will ensure that daily tasks and issues are communicated to other shifts according to approved standards. - I will demonstrate proficiency in air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems, carpentry, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and general building management. - I will use hand and power tools safely and acquire the basic competency to repair or replace PVC and copper pipes, as well as troubleshoot and repair various types of equipment including plumbing and electrical devices. - I will assist with surface preparation and painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, and replace light bulbs and A/C filters, while ensuring cleanliness in repair areas. - I will follow safety procedures, reporting maintenance issues and safety hazards, while completing required safety training and storing flammable materials appropriately. - I will maintain professionalism in my appearance and communicate clearly with guests and team members, while adhering to quality expectations. - I will be capable of lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds without assistance and will be able to navigate stairs, ramps, and ladders.
