Night Operations Engineer

I am responsible for scheduling the maintenance of systems that ensure the operation of our facility's boiler systems, pumps, ventilation systems, plumbing, water and sewage systems, and the Energy Management System (EMS) while also overseeing other building components. I will utilize appropriate service manuals, technical documents, and blueprints during preventive maintenance, repairs, or replacements of systems or components, ensuring compliance with sound engineering practices and safety protocols. My daily tasks will include performing minor repairs such as changing light bulbs in common areas, patching wall holes, painting, replacing air conditioning filters, and cleaning common area carpets. I will also conduct preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication, while maintaining daily logs of operations, maintenance, and safety activities. Communication with the Director of Residences or Residences Manager will be essential when addressing maintenance issues. Additionally, I will adhere to all company, safety, and security protocols, reporting any maintenance problems, safety hazards, incidents, or injuries, and ensuring I complete necessary safety training and certifications. I will present a clean and professional appearance, maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Guest interaction is crucial, and I will proactively anticipate and address service needs while assisting individuals with disabilities. My communication will be clear and professional, enabling me to develop positive working relationships and respond appropriately to employee concerns. I’ll maintain quality expectations and standards while fulfilling physical demands such as reaching overhead, bending, and lifting objects weighing under 50 pounds without assistance, and I may need assistance for heavier loads over 100 pounds. I will navigate stairs, ramps, or ladders and properly handle objects of varying sizes and weights, performing other reasonable job duties as assigned.
