IT Support Specialist - Windows & Networking

- Install, configure, manage, maintain, test, and repair computer networks and workstations - Support server systems and associated hardware/software - Train users on the proper use and security of all systems - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to computer hardware and software - Respond to program error messages - Provide network communications support and technical guidance - Refer complex issues to vendors or technicians - Analyze and implement process improvements - Collaborate with others to assess computing needs and system requirements - Inspect, test, and diagnose computer equipment and systems - Coordinate IT-related equipment installations, moves, and upgrades - Implement network security measures - Offer end-user support for all applications - Plan and manage disk space across the network - Maintain an accurate inventory of all technology devices - Ensure backup tapes are securely stored - Follow company policies and procedures - Report any workplace accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions - Engage in clear and professional communication with colleagues and guests - Foster positive working relationships within the team - Adhere to quality standards and propose enhancements for operational efficiency - Perform physical tasks, including moving objects up to 50 pounds - Manage various job duties as assigned by supervisors
