Requirements
Must:
- High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
- Valid drivers license
- Some experience in general maintenance and surface preparation
- Basic knowledge in areas such as air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
- Ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks
- Basic computer skills for logging and scheduling tasks
Responsibilities
- Address and respond to guest repair requests promptly
- Communicate maintenance issues with guests and resolve concerns
- Carry out preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen equipment
- Inspect tools, equipment, or machines visually
- Identify and operate all shut-off valves for utility systems
- Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition supplies as needed
- Record daily activities and issues for shift handovers
- Perform surface preparation, painting, and minor repairs
- Troubleshoot and repair various equipment and plumbing issues
- Program televisions and assist with engineering-related tasks
- Use Lockout/Tagout systems for safety during maintenance
- Perform repairs on landscaping and sprinklers
- Follow safety policies and report hazards or incidents
- Ensure a clean and professional appearance
- Develop positive relationships and collaborate with team members
- Assist guests and respond to service needs with sincerity
- Move and lift objects up to 50 pounds, and navigate stairs and ladders
- Enter and retrieve work-related information using computers
- Execute additional reasonable duties as assigned
