I respond to and address guest repair requests efficiently. Communicating with guests to resolve maintenance issues is a crucial part of my daily tasks. I perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment found in kitchens and mechanical rooms, which includes cleaning and lubrication. I conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machines, and carry necessary equipment such as tools and radios. I am responsible for identifying, locating, and operating all shut-off valves for equipment and utility shut-offs for buildings. I maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and requisition parts as necessary. Daily communication of activities and encountered issues is essential, utilizing approved communication programs and standards. I possess or am willing to acquire knowledge in key areas including air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical systems, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic controls, carpentry, kitchen equipment, vehicles, and energy conservation. I handle surface preparation, painting, minor repairs, and conduct thorough cleanup following maintenance activities. I test, troubleshoot, and carry out basic repairs on a variety of equipment, including plumbing tasks like plunging toilets and unclogging drains. Other responsibilities include programming TVs, performing general housekeeping duties, and utilizing the Lockout/Tagout system before undertaking maintenance work. I also manage interior and exterior landscaping repairs and maintain external landscaping sprinklers. Basic computer skills are required for inputting schedules and temperature changes. I strictly adhere to all company policies regarding safety and security, promptly reporting maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries. I ensure that my appearance is professional, safeguard confidential information, and protect company assets while delivering outstanding guest service.
