Requirements
Must:
- High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
- Valid drivers license
- Some experience in general maintenance, interior and exterior surface preparation and painting
- Familiarity with hotel engineering or maintenance is a plus
- No supervisory experience required
Responsibilities
- Respond to guest repair requests and address maintenance issues
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
- Conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machinery
- Operate all utility shut-offs and maintain maintenance inventory
- Document daily activities and communicate with other shifts
- Demonstrate knowledge in areas including air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and kitchen equipment
- Execute surface preparation, painting, and minor repairs
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment, plumbing, and electrical components
- Program TVs and perform inventory tasks related to housekeeping and engineering
- Utilize Lockout/Tagout procedures for safety during maintenance
- Maintain landscaping, including internal and external areas
- Complete all relevant safety training and protect company assets
- Engage with guests using professional communication and service skills
- Move and lift objects, including tasks that may require teamwork
