Engineering Manager - Software Development

- Manage all aspects of engineering and maintenance operations, ensuring safety and security of the building and grounds - Oversee the physical plant, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and refrigeration - Ensure compliance with all facility regulations and safety standards - Manage budgets and resource allocation for energy conservation initiatives - Distribute and monitor preventive maintenance and repair work orders - Supervise maintenance of property facilities, guest rooms, public spaces, and recreational areas - Develop long-term preventative maintenance plans and ensure their execution - Draft project plans for renovations or new constructions - Interface with contractors to obtain bids and supervise construction for timely, budget-compliant project completion - Build strong relationships with external stakeholders, including local government and vendors - Conduct regular inspections of property to maintain high standards - Facilitate guest satisfaction through inspections and equipment assessments - Recommend additional services and procure necessary supplies and equipment - Manage equipment and parts inventory effectively - Ensure all property licenses and certifications are current - Maintain life safety systems, including fire and alarm systems - Exhibit leadership in customer service, cultivating a welcoming environment for guests - Analyze guest feedback and satisfaction metrics to identify improvement areas - Train staff on safety practices and emergency procedures - Provide constructive feedback to employees based on service observations
