Requirements
Must:
- High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
- Some experience in general maintenance
- Experience in exterior and interior surface preparation and painting
- Familiarity with hotel engineering or maintenance is a plus
- Valid drivers license
Responsibilities
- Respond to and address guest repair requests
- Communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
- Conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, or machines
- Manage maintenance inventory and requisition parts as needed
- Communicate daily activities and issues to other shifts
- Exhibit knowledge in air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
- Conduct surface preparation, painting, and minor repair tasks
- Test and troubleshoot various equipment and plumbing systems
- Program TVs and manage housekeeping-related duties
- Apply the Lockout/Tagout system before maintenance work
- Perform repairs on landscaping and sprinklers
- Utilize basic computer skills for data entry and scheduling
- Follow all safety and security policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance
- Welcome guests and ensure their service needs are met
- Develop positive working relationships with team members
- Lift and move objects up to 50 pounds independently
- Navigate stairs, service ramps, and use ladders as needed
- Perform additional job duties as required
