Requirements

Must:
- 8 years of progressive leadership experience in technology within a hotel or similar setting. - Direct oversight of teams and management of budgets exceeding $1M. - Over 2 years of experience in project management. - Over 2 years of strategic planning experience in IT. - Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time. - Background in the Lodging or Hospitality sectors. - Relevant bachelors degree (computer science, MIS, or business administration) or equivalent training and experience, including certifications. - Strong analytical abilities for planning, budgeting, and tracking project progress. - Proficiency in effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

- Establish clear expectations, standards, and operating routines for properties to ensure consistent quality of service. - Align IT operations with overarching strategies, brand guidelines, and compliance requirements. - Serve as a trusted advisor to property and higher-level management regarding technological capabilities and risks. - Lead initiatives associated with change management as technological and operational demands evolve. - Collaborate with property leadership to pinpoint operational gaps and implement improvements through standardized procedures. - Oversee and recommend adjustments to property IT budgets, ensuring alignment with investment strategies. - Support technology initiatives related to sales, ensuring consistency across the portfolio. - Provide leadership for brand-wide projects, establishing specific tasks and performance measurement standards. - Supervise vendor contracts and service quality, ensuring compliance with management policies and agreements. - Ensure adherence to all relevant technology, brand IT, and security standards. - Validate compliance with data and security policies, ensuring property leadership understands and addresses security issues effectively. - Negotiate and communicate priorities with senior management and key stakeholders in global technology. - Mentor team members and resolve conflicts, while understanding the needs of core stakeholders.
