Requirements
Must:
- High school diploma or GED; 6 years of experience in engineering and maintenance or a related professional field
- Technical training in HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing
OR
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or a related discipline; 4 years of experience in engineering and maintenance or a related professional field
- Technical training in HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing
Responsibilities
- Ensure the property is maintained according to high standards, with a focus on safety, security, and asset protection
- Manage budgets and capital expenditure projects
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to meet guest and employee expectations while maximizing financial performance
- Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain engineering standards
- Lead emergency response for facility-related issues
- Administer service contracts to support property needs
- Manage controllable expenses and energy conservation initiatives
- Supervise construction to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Communicate departmental goals and address concerns proactively
