Business and AI Faculty

- Effectively teach Business Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence courses in various formats including traditional, blended, and online. - Respond to inquiries from students, colleagues, and community members while ensuring confidentiality and privacy. - Instruct in diverse learning environments both on- and off-campus. - Maintain and update course materials, addressing changes in curriculum and teaching methods. - Develop and oversee IT curricula while mentoring adjunct faculty. - Assess student learning according to the course syllabi and college policies. - Participate in continuous improvement of curricula and teaching methods, ensuring alignment with industry standards. - Assist in achieving departmental goals and contribute to online education enhancements. - Evaluate student performance and collaborate with faculty to enhance learning strategies. - Maintain an updated schedule for student advising, including office hours and meetings. - Engage in regional educational needs assessment and develop new programs as required. - Collaborate with faculty and administration on grant applications for program development. - Engage in college and community service activities as required. - Apply instructional plans to guide and assess student progress. - Create a professional development plan to stay updated on educational and industry advancements. - Attend college meetings and serve on assigned committees. - Integrate Guided Pathways principles in all job functions.
