Requirements

Must:
- U.S. Citizenship required - Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance - Willingness to travel locally and nationally (including air travel) up to 20% of the time with prior notice - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred - 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in information security or related specialized training in the field - Security+ certification or equivalent is mandatory - Preferred certifications include CISSP, GSEC, and CEH

Responsibilities

- Demonstrate Vigor Values consistently in daily operations - Oversee the analysis of IT and cybersecurity tools, such as endpoint security, intrusion detection systems, and incident reporting mechanisms to identify threats - Collaborate as a key member of the incident response team, addressing emerging security situations with IT departments - Lead vulnerability identification efforts in partnership with IT to develop remediation plans - Provide risk-based solutions to urgent cybersecurity challenges via analysis and advisement - Monitor and respond to defense reporting tools to protect endpoints against cyberattacks - Spearhead the creation of strategies and methodologies to enhance cybersecurity defenses in line with the overall Information Security program - Assist with program protection, Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM), System Security Engineering (SSE), and security programs during the acquisition life cycle - Lead collaborative working groups focused on program protection and supply chain risk management, preparing documentation and securing approvals - Contribute to program deliverables through comprehensive research, analysis, and production of security products - Support the corporate security program to safeguard sensitive information, assets, and personnel - Perform additional assigned duties as needed
