Requirements
Must:
- I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, a related field, or have equivalent experience.
- I possess 5 years of relevant architecture experience.
- I have 5 years of experience with ION RightAngle.
- I have intermediate proficiency in .NET/C# and SQL Server.
- I am experienced with Microsoft Azure.
- I have a background in complex, multi-application integrations (preferred).
- Knowledge of Application Performance Monitoring tools (such as Dynatrace, App Insights, or SolarWinds DPA) is preferred.
- Familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework is a plus.
Responsibilities
- I will assist in designing governance and standards activities to ensure compliance with technology architecture.
- I participate in the selection of hardware, software, and product standards.
- I contribute during system architecture reviews and ensure adherence to architecture criteria.
- I collaborate with stakeholders to align system architecture with business goals.
- I identify the organizational and financial implications of technology architecture.
- I evaluate and choose suitable technologies, platforms, and frameworks for systems.
- I assess technology industry trends and their impact on the enterprise.
- I provide evaluations of technology options and advise on technology investment decisions.
- I analyze and convert business and technical requirements into system designs.
- I design and implement comprehensive system architectures that align with business needs.
- I define system integration approaches and ensure the interoperability of system components.
- I offer guidance and support to development teams throughout system implementation.
- I lead initiatives for technological changes aimed at delivering business outcomes.
- I may oversee technology implementation and modification activities.
- I document and communicate my design and analysis work concerning technology architecture.
- I lead the development of system architecture documentation and diagrams.
Description
At MPC, we are excited to offer an opportunity for you as a Senior System Architect within our Commercial IT team, focusing on digital transformation and application modernization initiatives. This position will support our ION RightAngle platform, working closely with product owners, product managers, and other architects in the Commercial IT product line. I will develop and communicate the technical vision and roadmap for the Energy Trading & Risk Management (ETRM) product, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives and technical standards within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
