Data Operations and Platform Manager

- I will lead the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of data products and solutions on enterprise data and analytics platforms (such as Azure Synapse, MS Purview, Power BI, Databricks, and Cognite). - I will translate business priorities to enhance platform capabilities that facilitate advanced analytics, reporting, and AI/ML solutions. - Collaborating with enterprise architects, I will design and evolve new data integration patterns with source systems (ERP, CRM, etc.), middleware, and downstream consumers (dashboards, data science) to manage workloads effectively. - I will lead the design, development, and implementation of RPA and Agentic AI solutions to automate business processes, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime of RPA bots and AI agents. - I will work with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, streamline workflows, and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards. - I will manage the cloud-based Data Operations and Contextualization platform to support use case development for business units, utilizing knowledge graph databases to unify, contextualize, and activate industrial data. - Oversight of the deployment and monitoring of AI/ML models and platforms will be my responsibility, applying proven DevOps and MLOps frameworks. - I will lead cross-functional projects to integrate AI/ML and RPA solutions into business operations, developing project plans while communicating status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders. - Establishing monitoring, cost optimization, reliability, and incident management processes for data and analytics pipelines and workloads will be key to my role. - I will ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory requirements. - Managing external partners and platform administrators while coaching internal teams on best practices for data platforms will be part of my efforts. - I will oversee the day-to-day operations of a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure project completion in accordance with established guidelines. - Collaborating with management, I will set team goals that translate into actionable plans aligned with the overall organizational vision. - Fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement, I will lead the team through change and transformation. - Partnering with leadership, I will develop strong business cases for technology initiatives. - I will assist in developing IT policies, procedures, and standards that align with industry best practices while ensuring compliance. - In my role, I will be responsible for the recruitment, development, retention, and performance management of talent to meet business needs.
