Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in aerodynamic testing, experimental fluid mechanics, or automotive environmental testing. A Masters degree in experimental fluid dynamics is a plus.
- Solid understanding of Fluid Mechanics, boundary layer flows, and multiphase flow principles.
- Demonstrated ability to create and document standardized testing procedures and experimental setups.
- Practical experience with wind tunnel instrumentation and water spray systems.
- Additional expertise in KD Sourcing and related fields is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the technical execution of wind tunnel experiments to assess sensor performance in varying weather conditions.
- Standardize testing processes to guarantee consistency and precision across various environmental situations.
- Design and construct intricate experimental setups and testing matrices for aerodynamic and environmental evaluations.
- Operate and maintain wind tunnel instruments, including pressure transducers, anemometers, and water spray systems.
- Analyze sensor data and environmental effects, offering insights to enhance the safety and performance of autonomous vehicles.
