Requirements
Must:
- 1+ years of experience; 3+ years is preferred.
- Proven experience in designing progressive stamping dies.
- Proficiency in 3D design.
- Ability to create strip layouts, develop station sequencing, and craft high-quality progressive tooling.
- Experience collaborating with toolmakers and production teams.
- Strong mechanical creativity and analytical problem-solving skills.
- U.S. Citizenship (ITAR compliance).
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of progressive stamping die designs from concept to completion.
- Create comprehensive strip layouts, determine forming stations, timing, and die components.
- Develop robust, manufacturable designs adhering to precise tolerance standards.
- Collaborate with toolmakers, machinists, and pressroom personnel during die build, trial, and troubleshooting.
- Assist in technical quoting and early-stage design evaluations.
- Address customer technical inquiries directly.
- Mentor colleagues and shape future design standards.
- Engage in long-term succession strategies, including potential equity ownership discussions.
