Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in testing or engineering roles related to electrical or mechatronic systems.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience demonstrating exceptional ability.
- Practical experience with electro-mechanical system integration and testing, including familiarity with HIL systems such as dSPACE, CANoe, or LabVIEW.
- Proficiency with electronic lab instruments, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
- Strong diagnostic abilities and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative setting.
Responsibilities
- Operate dynamometers to replicate driving conditions and conduct electrical fault injection on Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) test equipment.
- Execute electrical testing on diverse vehicle systems, including lighting, thermal, charging, powertrain, perception, and safety, using both static and dynamic test assets.
- Sustain, enhance, and automate current HIL testing setups to boost testing efficiency and precision.
- Collaborate with firmware developers, technicians, and system managers to understand firmware updates, system modifications, and compatibility concerns.
- Analyze test outcomes by setting up data-logging hardware like CANalyzer and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems as they emerge.
