Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience managing vendor and carrier relationships to meet project timelines.
- Exceptional precision for tracking intricate circuit IDs and ensuring billing accuracy.
- Comprehensive understanding of networking principles such as TCP/IP, VLANs, and routing protocols like BGP and OSPF.
- Familiarity with various telecom standards and circuit types including Fiber, EPLs, Wave, Broadband, and DIA.
- Bachelors degree in IT or Computer Science; having industry certifications like CCNA or Network+ is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage the telecommunications services lifecycle, covering procurement, deployment, and maintenance.
- Coordinate with vendors and carriers such as AT&T, Verizon, and Lumen to ensure prompt service delivery and problem resolution.
- Supervise the technical activation and configuration of network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Diagnose and resolve circuit-level issues during both testing and operational phases.
- Maintain thorough inventory and documentation of all active circuits, including key details and contract deadlines.
