Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience
- Over 5 years of experience in engineering, project management, or management consulting specifically within automotive product development
- Deep understanding of vehicle testing, particularly crash safety, and strength and durability assessments
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies such as Gantt charts, risk matrices, Jira, or similar platforms
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively visualize KPIs and project risks
Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive project execution for crash safety and operational strength attribute development from concept through production
- Collaborate with Engineering, Safety, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and Testing teams to deliver solutions that fulfill vehicle structural needs
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource distribution for crash testing programs and durability validation activities
- Resolve technical challenges related to crashworthiness, structural integrity, and durability performance
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators for crash and strength attributes against vehicle benchmarks
