- Hands-on experience in a data center or critical facility setting, particularly with UPS systems, emergency generators, and switchgear equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- Operating Engineers license (SMA) or comparable certification
- Universal Technician certification for CFCs
- Strong verbal and written communication proficiency; exceptional organizational and analytical skills

Responsibilities
- Maintain, monitor, and carry out preventive maintenance on all facility systems to ensure uninterrupted operation and adherence to standards
- Adjust and oversee refrigeration, chilled water systems, air conditioning units, boilers, ventilators, hot water heaters, pumps, valves, piping, filters, and other mechanical/electrical apparatus
- Conduct routine inspections, record measurements, and make necessary adjustments to guarantee optimal equipment performance; analyze system efficiency and rectify malfunctions
- Install and repair plumbing, piping, and wiring; rebuild or install pumps, air compressors, heat exchangers, bearings, seals, filters, and controls
- Operate and uphold critical apparatus including UPS systems, generators, chillers, and air conditioning systems

Located in Menands, NY, we offer a competitive pay range of $32 to $36 per hour, and our shifts run from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
