Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years of professional experience in mechanical assembly design, development, and testing focused on fluid and motion control.
- Expertise in NX CAD or comparable 3D modeling software; knowledge of GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards is advantageous.
- Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation such as pressure and force transducers, flow meters, and thermocouples, as well as data acquisition systems.
- Strong organizational, planning, and communication abilities; experience with LabVIEW and MATLAB is a plus.
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement fluidic and mechanical testing plans and setups.
- Create 3D models and assemblies using NX CAD or similar software tools.
- Produce comprehensive test documentation and relay results to design teams.
- Assist in engineering evaluations to ensure design integrity and purpose.
- Oversee the maintenance of lab equipment, calibration standards, and safety protocols.
